Hi Everyone,
I'm getting ready for a show and I have been going corker crazy...I used to tie my corkers but I have now started sewing...These are some of the large corkers I've made, its not the greatest picture but it gets the point across...I made them with 2.5" cuts and approx 30 corkers per bow, they are attached to a french clip. Does everyone else normally attach large ones to a french clip or to an alligator clip?
Thanks for looking,
Amanda

Those look very nice! I hate doing korkers (and don't) but I recognize pretty ones when I see 'em!

Okay, anyone know how you "sew" them? Mine turn out okay, but I always tend to have to do a whole lot of "rearranging" after I tie them. No matter how many cuts I use they never look as full......

Hi Ashlea,
I don't know how everyone else does it but I started just by stacking on the needle (not arranging them in any way) then sewing through all layers, but....Now I've started doing something to free up a hand so I can arrange the ribbons while stacking...What I've done is stick the head of the needle into a pin cushion, so I have the point sticking up...Then I start stacking the layers, staggering each layer a little beside the other. I also hold the layers flat around the needle...I do this until all the ribbons are on the needle, then pull the needle out and sew the layers together....I'm not sure how to explain this but if you want I can try and take some pictures of what I do...hehe
