I have been using tables and table top displays so far for my displays - here's pics of my last show on this thread:
Mall Expo LOTS of pics - Posh N Pretty Forum (http://www.poshnpretty.com/forum/showthread.php?t=1723)

I want to invest in some grid panels - but I only have a $400 budget. Are these grid panels worth the investment? And would you rather look at bows and hats and all that on tables or on these grid panels if you were at a craft show?

I think I would rather look at them on panels because they are a bit more spread out. Sometimes things crowded on a table become a bit too much for my eyes to take in at once and I usually miss something. I don't like a whole bunch of grid walls though because then it starts looking to me like a "big company" selling stuff and that sort of turns me off at craft shows. I love supporting the little guy with big dreams.

Thanks for your honest opinion. I really think the grid walls look very neat and tidy. I'm afraid I'm going to end up making a lot of the same things to fill the peg hooks with though. You know - the same korker x's 10 - and then this or that won't sell well and I'll be stuck with a bunch of the same thing.

So anyway, I'm pretty sure I'm going to go with some grid panels and also maybe a 6' table I already have. I'm having a hard time placing everything the way I want it in a 10'x10' space on paper though. I guess once I get the panels I can play around with a configuration.

In a 10 x 10 space, you could set the grids like an H where the openings are where people will be walking by so you can put products on both sides. Then just have a small table at the end where you do the checkout. At the other end you can also put a little table with stuff on it too. Here's a pic of my space that took up where a 6' table would be.

You could have the same thing on the other side and then tables on the end. I hope I'm explaining this well.

Really nice set up! Thanks for sharing the photo! I'm thinking i want something similar to what you have, but 4 panels in the middle instead of 3 (that will take up more of the 10' space) and the 2 ends angled out so 6 panel's total. I'm still trying to figure out the other half of my set up though. I want to put a 6' table maybe on the oposite side of the grid and then some tirangle grids in between. Possibly a small table on one end for the check out. I don't know if that made ANY sense at all - thinking "out loud."

I am going Saturday though to get the panels and accessories!! That's exciting! I've gotten some inspiration for you display! Thanks again!

Of course! I'll be playing with it Sunday and take pics then. But I signed up for a show next weekend (14th & 15th). I found out there were a ton of family things going on Thanksgiving weekend I didn't want our family to miss out on so I backed out of the Black Friday weekend show. So in the end I'll get to try out my display earlier then expected and have pictures to post sooner too!
