Making fabric flowers from petals

On another post GrandmaJ wrote--"I was in a craft store yesterday and in the 'bridal' aisle they had a bag of "flower petals" .. has anyone ever used something like that to make flowers!?!?! I was thinking .. 'they are all cut' and you'd just have to assemble them!?!? Just curious"

I found this on a blog thought this is basically the same thing, she just made her own petals.

Wow, you must have been reading my mind! I have a box of petals from a wedding my daughter and I were in just this past Saturday and was wondering the same thing. Thanks for the tut!
