Shirt I made myself

I bought this pink shirt last year and never wore it b/c it make my hips look too big, but I didn't want to throw it out either! This weekend I got this turqoise shirt from the mall I had my show at on clearnace for $3 and thought - I can dress it up.

I chopped off the ruffles on the pink shirt and made rosettes out of them. I have a ton of ruffles left so I'll be using them for hairbows too I'm sure. Wearing it today!

When I get an idea in my head I just either have to do it then and there (like what happened with this shirt) or i have to write it down to get it out of my head. I'm glad I did this one when I was thinking about it! I'm loving this shirt! I actually made it outside on the patio while my little girl played on the swing set. Didn't take too long, just scissors and some fabric glue.

Honestly, when I was younger, with little ones ... I was always into something. Busy like you ... guess I'm busy now but with different things. My husband is always trying to get me to sit with him and relax .. but when I do .. I fall asleep. I'd rather be busy!! BTW .,, cute shirt!! ;)

Thanks! I am the same way - gotta be up and doing someting. It's hard to sit and be still.

I love pink and turqoise together! I find myself layering a lot and usually it's with a lot of pink and turqoise. It just happens!
