ISO: Birthday Hat ASAP!

Help, please!

I'm in desperate need of a birthday hat for my son's 2nd birthday. I've been procrastinating WAY too long & it just hit me tonight that I still need to order his supplies & make his outfit.

I don't care too much what it looks like exactly, if it could have a guitar or something that'd be great - if it could match the theme that'd be a perk, but I'm definitely not going to be super picky right now! Wish I could help, I've been wanting to make these hats but still haven't gotten around to it. Thought it would be my "summer down time" project, but I just haven't had any down time AND I'm already starting to work on Halloween. Guess it'll be a Christmas down time project.

I had actually bought some material to make birthday hats this weekend at joanns... I havent attempted to do it yet, I would be afraid to make one for you at this time...lol I would have no idea how it would turn out..

The reason I procrastinated so long was because I have been meaning to make some myself. But it's just been bumped down on my "to-do list" repeatedly. Luckily, I found my lifesaver on the HG forum. I'm sure my son will be thrilled with his hat. :D

Thanks for the tut! Like I said, I've been meaning to make these for a long time, but I just haven't gotten to it. But now that there's a tut just a click away, I might be able to get to it. :coolgleamA:

boy i wish i knew how to sew better...lol I bought some foam and plan to eventually make a hat out of it... some day...lol
