Attaching to Pony-O's

I've experimented with attaching korkers to pony-o's. How do any of you recommend attaching to pony-o's? My DD is 2, and likes to pull her bows out, but hasn't quite figured out how to pull the ponytail out yet! So, I'm trying to figure out how to make some things pony-o compatible!

I have only made a few cheer bows on pony o's.... All I did was glue the middle piece of the cheer bow around the o... I couldnt find any with the metal piece to glue to, so i just used the no grip ones...

I usually sew the pony-o to the bow (a simple stitch through the center, wrap, and sew back through) and then glue the center wrap ribbon around the pony-o and bow center.
