I'd like to hear thoughts on the differences between single and double prong clips and pros/cons for each. I've only used the single prong clips and make mostly ribbon sculptures.
Thanks!

I like double prong for clippies. They seem to hold better. The single prong is better in woven headbands. I have a customer who only wants single prong, but double seems fine with everyone else. I mostly use double.

I prefer the double prong. I think they stay better in the hair. I use them for bows and clippies!

I like using the double prongs. I find that they slide easier into my daughter hair and holds more hair.

I prefer single prong... but then again, I have never used double. I have never had a request for double, but probably will now that I have said that. lol

I use single prong but I might have to try the double prong. Do you line them?

I have also only used single prong because my daughter is only 16 mo old. maybe as she gets older I'll use the double prong. Loris

I've used both. I preffer the single of almost everything except flower clips. The double prongs are wider and there is more room for the bottom of the flowers to attach to.

I line them the same way you would a single prong. I think that they are actually easier to line b/c the ribbon fits better. I am defiantly a double prong gal!

I use the single prong if I am using it to make a really really lightweight item, like a really small flower, etc. But for the most part, I use the double prong, they are easier to line (like another memeber said) and they just hold better, I think. JMO!!
