Teeny Butterfly on convered snap clip [Archive]

I just made this. Barbara and I were talking about making a bee out of smaller ribbon to try on my flower next time :)

I tried a butterfly just to see if it would work with 1/4" ribbon.

Here is my result

Thank you! :) Last night was the first time since at least before Christmas that I have attempted to make anything. I've been in a creative funk.

I was watching Law & Order and cruising along with the butterfly :) I'm debating on making some more stuff. Not sure what yet though.

Barbara-I just need to attach her wings and antennas. I got frustrated with the wings and put the bee aside...quite a while ago...:oops:

I'll try to finish her up tomorrow. She is teeny tiny!

Snap clips I have never tried. Are they gard to do? I have been making ribbon flowers for my show. In the process of getting them made I got an order for 4 of them so had to switch modes. LOL

They aren't really too hard. You pretty much just need to make sure the ribbon is tight and lays right :)

What a creative idea. I have only put bows on the end of the snap clippie but the butterfly is a great idea. Good work.
