I did a craft show this week at the local YMCA for their Ladies' Night Out. It was kind of a bust, I think most woman were there for the free samples and giveaways going on. I had a minimum I wanted to make and I just made that. Also the table fee was $40 (for only 3 hours) so I split the cost with a friend and when we arrived they were only 6' tables!!! :cursing: Ahhh!! Yep, 3' is all I got. We were very smashed together. I also forgot my camera :banghead: so all I had was my camera phone which doesn't take the greatest photos.
On the plus side I was able to do some networking with another lady that made bows as well, but mainly monogrammed items. We both shared some ideas with each other so it ended up being a productive evening more so then a money making event. Sometimes that's just as good.
How's everyone else doing with craft shows lately?
