Any tips would be much appreciated. I have tried fabri-tac, tacky glue, fabric fusion, super glue, high temp glue gun, low temp glue gun.....
I have the best luck with the fabri-tac except that often the glue gets on the top of the ribbon and doesn't look nice. Mostly it is getting on my fingers and is then transferred when I am smoothing the ribbon down. Hope that makes sense!

I use hot glue. I use my right hand for glue gun and left hand to press the ribbon. The left hand doesnt comes into contact with my glue mess. That way it is safe. If my index finger is messed, i ll use my thumb to press. And the hot glue is easy to clean. HTH:)

I keep a cool damp cloth on my lap to press/wipe my finger tips on if I get a bit messy. (I use hot glue). Try putting less glue on the clip so that it won't seep from the sides. It took me awhile but I have it down to where the glue evenly spreads and there is usually no seepage.

I use hot glue, but I only use a high-temp glue gun. The ones that I have lined with a low-temp glue gun eventually all game unglued!

I used to use E6000 but since they changed the formula, it does not work as well. I have been lately using a hot temp glue gun and lining this way and have had much luck.

I like to use hot glue also. Every time I use Fabri-tac I make a mess with it and it gets everywhere. I haven't found a way to clean it up off the ribbon. With the hot glue I can take my heat gun and run it over the clips once done and the glue disappears real quick.

I've been using E6000. Maybe I should try the hot glue. I might add...lining clippies is my least favorite project!

Hot glue just does not look good to me on clips. I love E6000 or Quick Grip but it takes so long to dry.

I use high temp hot glue also. It seems to work good for me, but I do have to be careful not to use to much. My dh is worried my bows will come undone from alligator clips using only hot glue, is this a problem for anyone? So far they are staying on well, but I've just started so the little girl wearing my bows hasn't had them long.

I always fully line the ones I do. I am super new but to me they look better.

So you're NOT supposed to line the whole clip? I have been!

When I line my clips, I wrap the bottom section. Am I just wasting ribbon? Is there really a need to wrap the bottom?
