I was referred by another vendor for this event and thought WHY NOT. It was this organization's 1st year trying this out so turn out was small.

On the plus side - there was no cost - just a door prize donation. The food was AMAZING (and free). It was at a nice upscale hotel. Most of the vendors were really nice, not junky looking.

I made a couple hundred dollars, so that made it worth my time. It was only a 3 hour event.

I gave EVERY person that walked my way a card. So you never know what may come back my way later on.

I requested to bring my own set up, they offered tables with skirting, but you know me - can't take the easy route. I did two square grid panels and a 4' table. Plus my cash register table. Set up took not quite an hour and a half with unloading, finding our location, getting product out, things plugged in, and the price signs up. Probably a record for me, although this is 1/4 of my regular set up.

Big set up again this coming weekend with another 3 day mall event on the calendar.

I did one of these last year and it was nice. There was no free food but there was free champagne lol. I feel your pain on the big setups. Mine isn't quite as large as yours (yet). This weekend is my last 10x10 space. So looking forward to a couple smaller shows and done for the year...I hope.

There was free wine too at this event. But I stuck with water. It doesn't take me much to get tipsy, lol!

10x10's are a lot of work. And mine is inside and out. I have 6 more shows the rest of the year with my 10x10 and an open house planned yet.. Then I can hope and wish for a break - but the truth is Valentine's Day is right after all that. So no rest for me in the near future.

I know. I just e-mailed about 2 other small shows. Not that I want to pick them up but I really want to dump some of this inventory. I don't do any shows in December so I can visit with family and breathe. I'd like to sit and make new product for this baby expo I signed up for in March. Like you said it never ends and no rest.

Thanks! This is the 2nd year I've used it. Think I'll probably use it every year for a long time, it's bright and bold. Just how I like it!
