You're getting there! Don't get discouraged, you'll make tons of bow before you feel comfortable. Even after that you'll still have to take some apart and just start over. Keep it up!

Yes, it does look better--keep practicing and you'll get it!

One bit of advice--I found that when you're practicing this bow, try it with grosgrain ribbon first. It is a lot easier to work with than the satin ribbon that you're using. Also, use wider ribbon, like 7/8 or 1.5 inch for the same reason--a LOT easier when you're practicing these bows. Once you get it down pat, then you can move to smaller ribbon and satin/organza.

Hope that helps some, and keep up the good practicing!

I agree to try grosgrain, it will sort of "grip" better than satin and to use a wider ribbon..

If the 5/8" is all you have, try trimming it down to 14 or 15 inches, otherwise, your loops will still be too big.

Also, try to angle your ribbon loop a little more, if that makes sense, try to make it more perpendicular to the ribbon under it.

Please don't torture yourseld trying to make a boutique bow with that ribbon. Try 7/8 grosgrain.

It does look better. You have fixed that "stray" loop! I can't give you any other advice that the other ladies have not already shared but just wanted to encourage you to keep trying because I DO see improvement!
