Cards for nylon/crocheted (waffle)/knit headbands

Are you all using the oversized postcards from VP? I know that the regular sized ones are to narrow.

What size are you using? I thought the oversize said they were like 8.50 by 10.00 or so. That would be to big for the headbands woundn't it?
